What’s my story?
During a weekend “externship” in college I was introduced to an unfamiliar string of words: “User Experience Design.” The lightbulb memory of myself entering the room, questioning the paper buttons and icons strewn across the table, still burns bright in my brain. As I dove into the task of designing an interface for an air traffic controller, a spark ignited and my passion became clear.
I gained a solid foundation of all things UX during my master’s program in Human-Computer Interaction. Throughout my career I continuously iterate on my process.
My focus: Deliver delightful experiences that consider both user needs and stakeholder requests.
My strength: User Experience Strategy - taking an idea and painting an attainable vision through UX storytelling.
My values include health, family, and education. Similar to “diversifying your portfolio,” I believe in having diverse interests to foster creative and personal growth. Outside work you can find me playing beach volleyball, running, practicing yoga, singing/playing piano, reading, writing, and (when it’s safe again) traveling.
Life’s too short, be transparent, be vulnerable
